Fedor strikes again!

Here is a recap of round one:

Rogers lands a Jab and opens a cut on the nose, Fedor lands power right left as he takes Rogers down like a ragdoll, Rogers gets up and stalls against the cage, Fedor trip's him off, Power left that sends Roger's reeling grabbing his head in disbelief, Fedor hits with left right left that hit side of Roger's head. Fedor judo throws Roger's against the fence and procceds to land a left as Roger's is bouncing off. As Roger's is trying to escape he is the victim of a Fedor single leg takedown. Fedor throws a few short lefts to Rogers skull on the ground and then proceeds to work for a finishing submission. As Fedor gets a perfect looking kimura on Roger's he is unable to finish it due to Rogers size and power. Fedor has Roger's in the guard. Roger's takes advantage of his position and lands vicious Ground n Pound strikes. Fedor is not phased as he works to secure an armbar. The cage gets in the way of rolling Roger's over for a finish. Fedor reverses and gets top position and throws some strikes at Brett from his halfguard. Fedor attempts a third close submission in the form of an arm triangle. Roger's is able to reestablish full guard as Fedor tries to pass. Fedor gets up and tries a flying ground and pound on Roger's, Brett barely blocks the flying right hook. Round ends with Fedor in dominant top position.


Basically a dominant round for Fedor with two bright spots for Roger's.

Here is the highlight:
